The Sealing of the Saints [Part 14]

Paul said, we have been made kings and priest unto God. We are made partakers of his heavenly glory. Looking at the final part in the series of the sealing of the saints we will now look at Levi which me "a crown". We all work for profit and look for an inheritance in all that we do its human nature. So many of us talk about wearing a crown when we get to heaven, well, there is a crown that has been prepared and is being prepared for us by God for us and in us by him and for him.
A crown is a symbol of royalty, and if we who were nobody and without an inheritance were grafted in and adopted into the royal family, we like Moses was, will be honored by the new title given to us at our adoption, "son" If we are sons, then heirs and if heirs then we have become joint heirs with him. We were as slaves who was sold in the market place, our new master paid a price for us, gave us a new name, a new identity, a new purpose, a new inheritance, a new hope. He sealed us with his mark so that where ever we go all will know that we have been bought from slavery and we have a mark to prove it.

With this new hope and inheritance we have now found purpose, our purpose is God. He is the King who when he went down to the slave market the people of stature laughed to scorn because He chose the unworthy, the sinners, the lame, the sick, in fact, he chose the rejects of society who were called nothing and nobodies, it is only God who can make something out of nothing. When we come to a place where we can humble ourselves and loose our agenda's we become clay in the hand of the potter (Master). While we are on the run it is very difficult to receive his mark of sealing. We will need to sit still so that he could seal us.

While he is administering his seal to us we sometimes become anxious and we shake and move and jump. Walking about half sealed does not necessitate a true sealing. It’s like being on both sides of the fence, it’s like serving 2 masters at the same time, we will sometimes love the one and hate the other, our Master becomes a convenience to us. We cannot serve God and mammon at the same time. If God be God then serve Him. If baal be god then serve him. Light and darkness have no fellowship, the spirit and the flesh warreth against each other.
A crown is used to represent royalty and the authority and power of royalty. When we wear it upon our head it can only then have purpose. Upon our head it covers and protect our minds, the head is the part of the body that leads and directs the body, wearing the crown means that we have ascended the throne and the things of this world, the flesh will bow to us, with this name or nature written on the breast plate means that we were predestinated for this purpose. Christ in us the hope of glory. The King in us, we becoming like the King, we are becoming full of light for he is light, the people of Jesus day did not understand that Jesus had a crown, that crown was God the Father. Because they did not understand the placed a crown of thorns upon his head.
When we walk about today and we represent Jesus, we are wearing a crown, that crown if the mind of Christ, because those who live after the flesh cannot understand this they will try to place a crown of thorns upon our heads just like they did Jesus. That crown of thorns is meant to corrupt our minds and point us to the flesh and to try to cause us to focus on the flesh. The mind of Christ is a crown of glory and its free for all if we would take hold to it and press for the mark for the prize of the high calling in Christ Jesus. The mind of Christ.

He continually lead me in the path of righteousness and has placed a banner over me which flies high with its cover of love. Even when I forget the path he has brought me through he leave me not. Even when I am unfaithful and forget to praise him his love toward me is everlasting. He calls me the son of my right hand. We will now look at Benjamin, which means "the son of my right hand".

Jesus came in the flesh to reconcile all men unto himself, remembering that he was God in the flesh. Though he was God in the flesh, while he was on earth in the office of son, he had to abide by the same rules that he himself made in the office of the triune God. Stephen said "I see Jesus standing at the Father's right hand.

There is no preference as to where Jesus stands or sits before the Father because he and the Father are one and the same. This was said for our understanding and maturity and growth.
In Genesis God made a good man out of the dust of the ground and prior to the woman partaking of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and giving to Adam he was good and without sin.
From the day of his sin when his mind became carnal he who was once good and without sin is now become acceptable through sacrifice. Without sacrifice man is become unacceptable before God.
Through Adam's sin we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God and have become worthy of death. Jesus came as the perfect sacrifice and shed his righteous blood to justify us all through redemption.
We are living in a day of the mercy of the Lord, through his mercy and righteousness he is now bringing forth one new man in Christ, he is bringing forth a son after his express image, the image of his son Jesus Christ. So Adam was created after the flesh a carnal son and we who are born again have been made a righteous spirit through his blood. We through him has now become worthy of eternal life and his glory.

To be the right hand means to be proffered above the other. Being born after the flesh which refers to those who are of Adam and bears the Adamic nature which wareth against the spirit, displeases God. Those who are born again after the spirit and now bear the mind of Christ which is after the spirit, bearing the nature of Christ pleases God. God prefers the son who through Christ is after the spirit, this son, though he be acceptable in the sight of God through the sacrifice of the blood of Christ, will become perfect just like him. These born again sons has become the sons of his right hand, a preferred son.

Romans 12:1-2
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
We are getting ready for the perfect will of God which is the ultimate goal.

Bless the Lord for a new day. Every day we see the sun rise is another day that the Lord has added to us, God is bringing us from a place of nothingness to a place of abundance and plenty. Continuing to look at the sealing of the saints in the light of the breastplate of the high priest, we will now look at Joseph, which means "God has added". For the faith and faithfulness of Elisha he received a double portion of the anointing of Elijah.

By his faithfulness in serving his parents and being obedient and getting yoked up with the oxen, he appeared to be insignificant and unimportant; plowing in the field takes you out of the forefront of being seen, just as Moses was in the back side of the desert. It is referred to as the closet experience, the wilderness experience, it’s a place of toiling and hard work, a place where there is no cheerleading, no pats on the back, if anything, just like Job when his wife told him to curse God and die, we would be treated like Elisha when the sons of the Prophets stood and viewed from a far off. Continually pointing out and reminding him that he is following a ministry that will soon come to an end, well, we know in part and prophesy in part all these things will pass away but the only one thing that will stay and stand is the Word of God.

If Israel had stayed in Egypt they would have never experienced the milk and honey, if Elisha had not heeded the call and followed Elijah he would have never received his double portion, nothing would have been added to him.

Israel would have never had an inheritance added to them should they have stayed in Egypt. God does not want us to become stale and boring and dry but he wants to add flavor and color to our existence and destiny. We were once without hope, so God added hope, we were bound for death, so God added life, we were strangers and aliens from the commonwealth of God, he added to us citizenship, we are no more foreigners, we did not qualify to receive an inheritance so he added to us and grafted us into the olive branch, he added to us the right of an heir. An heir is not one who buys into but one who was born into the right to inherit and possess. The heir (us) as long as he is a child differed nothing from a servant though he be an heir.

This is the reason for us being under tutors and governors who will teach us so that we may grow up into him in all things and when we have come to maturity we will be able to step out like Jesus did at the Jordan to do business in the Father's name.
He is the King of kings and we have become heirs to his throne. In order for us to step out and do business we must grow up, we must come to a place of maturity; we must have knowledge of managing the Kingdom before our Father can release it to us.

We have too many boy leaders today and God is calling Father's. In the physical we are trained to become doctors and lawyers and pilots, we find an authority in that field and we submit to it until we graduate and get certified and qualified before we are allowed to perform the duties of the position. We have been placed under tutors and governors for the purpose of training and maturity so that we can grow up and become knowledgeable and experienced to handle to positions and responsibilities which we are called for. God has indeed added to us this order.

Its an awesome feeling to know that all our Father has created an inheritance and has become a living legacy to us and for us. Continuing to look at the sealing we have now come to Ephraim which means "double fruitfulness".

Only a true son can receive a double portion. Looking at the prodigal son who left home and asked his Father to liquidate all his assets and give it to him. It saddened the heart of the Father at his departing, but at his return, his Father killed the fatted calf, put on him the best robe, put a ring on his finger, declared a grand celebration "my son has come home" though he took his full portion I will give him another portion, double portion, God is not giving us what we have worked for but what we have faith to believe for. There is an inheritance laid up for the just and the just shall live by faith and that faith is the faith of the Son of God. Looking at Elijah and Elisha, when it came to pass that the Lord would carry away Elijah by a whirlwind, the scripture says that as Elijah was passing by the house of Elisha he found him yoked up with the Oxen plowing the field.

He said unto Elisha "follow me". Elisha said unto him I must say good bye to my relatives so he celebrated with them and followed after Elijah. Let's talk about the yolk of the Oxen, the yolk is a heavy piece of wood which is shaped like a bow and carefully crafted to fit on the neck of the Oxen. This yolk is mounted unto 2 pieces of wood on either side of it which is mounted to a plow which is controlled by the one who holds the harness in his hands and dictates the direction that the Oxen should go. This yolk is placed on the neck of the Oxen and a leash is attached to it which is controlled by the master. On the nose of the Oxen a little hole is made and a metal ring is placed there. The harness is also attached to this nose ring so that when the master pulls it to the right or left the Oxen will go in that direction.

Our necks speak of our will. God desires from us that we surrender our wills and to let his will become ours so that he can use his harness to lead us unto himself. We as the Oxen which speaks of servant-hood need to get yoked up with the master and surrender our wills to Him. The scripture declares that we have become a stiff necked people, a self willed people, Jesus said "not my will but yours".

We need to lose our will in God and to let Him harness us with His yolk. He said "my yolk is easy and my burden is light". Going a little further I will only touch on the double portion and speak in detail on this topic on a later message. After a while when to yolk is placed on the neck, it creates an imprint of the yolk, it cuts away, it seals. After a while of much plowing together, the yolk and the Oxen becomes one. The Oxen loses its will and will only go where the Master leads it. The Oxen becomes familiar with the route of daily plowing, the Oxen will not travel a strange road as long as it is yoked up with the Master. Elisha followed Elijah unto Gilgal which is typical of the cross and our outer court experience with God.
They both moved on to Jordan which is typical of our experience at Pentecost, the baptism of the Holy Ghost and finally the going on unto the Jordan which speaks of a turning, like a wheel, Speaks of death to the old and a new life. When Jesus went to the Jordan he went under the water signifying death, he came back up signifying a new life. When Elijah was taken up Elisha received a double portion, only one who is of the same bloodline is qualified to receive a double portion. We are the oxen, the Master is Jesus and we need to surrender all to the Master to receive a double portion.

Pressing on to know him we will now look very briefly at Judah, one of the sons of Jacob, one of the names written on the breast plate of the high priest. Recapping on the thought that sealing means "a cutting away" Of the flesh. The scriptures said that every male that openeth the womb in the Old Testament had to be circumcised, meaning that his foreskin had to be cut away. It was a permanent mark that brought a distinction upon the people of God.

When God told Moses to speak to Pharaoh and tell him thus said the Lord, let my people go. After many events and attempts Pharaoh eventually came up with a compromise. He said to Moses, "take your people and leave Egypt, but leave all your sheep and oxen’s behind" this compromise was a sure way to death to the people of God should Moses had accepted the terms and compromise of Pharaoh. Here's the thing, in the old Testament, the means of offering praises to our God was by sacrifices of the sheep and oxen. If Israel had ended up in the wilderness without a sacrifice to offer unto God they would have all perished. Hear me saints of God, we are in the wilderness journeying to our promise land, Moses (Jesus) had indeed gone before us and declared to Pharaoh (the devil) to let my people go.

We are at a place where the devil has made a compromise, he is now ok with us going to church, as long as we do not carry with us the ability to give thanks, praise and worship the King of kings. He is ok with that. His great compromise is for us to lose our composure and get upset so that when it’s time to give praises to God we hold back because we have lost it. How many times have we gotten upset just before worship, especially before worship something happens. The enemy is subtle and would use any and every avenue to cause us to leave our means of sacrifice behind, so that when we come before God we end up dry, without a song in our hearts and a praise in our lips. Without a Word to honor God. This is the reason for us being sick and weak when we ought to be strong. One of the device of the enemy that keeps us from giving praise is complacency, we fool ourselves in believing that we have plenty of time.

Here's what, time does not wait for anyone, when we have a window of opportunity and we do not use it, it will pass us by and may never come our way again. God is still speaking and we should be hearing. Voices in our head is a distracting voice and breathes confusion and unbelief. The voice that speak to our hearts is but one "God". The voice of God speaks with conviction and purpose. When the voice of God speaks there is no risk. When we hear voices in our head there is uncertainty and a lot of room for error. The songs that comes from our hearts is the songs that glorifies God. The Word that comes from our hearts is the Word that glorifies God.
Praise is not just something that we do but part of who we are. I will need to write on this topic in detail at another time. Praise is the thing that we will need to fight our battles.
Praise is what it takes to make God happy and to get his attention.

Bless God, we continue to speak on the sealing of the saints in the light of the breast plate of the high priest. The next seal we will now look at is "Issachar" which means "reward, or bought with a price. We have come to a realization that we are not our own and we cannot redeem ourselves, we are bought with a price and that price is was paid in full. We now fully belong to the merchant who paid the price.

We were under a slave master working for nothing with no reward. Remember the people of Israel while they were slaves in Egypt working for an unjust king who gave them no reward and no rest and no peace, their children had no inheritance, their future and inheritance was to become a slave to an unjust master. They were not allowed to own anything. Their food was rationed and their daughters became concubines, they were not allowed to worship God freely, they were not allowed to leave the borders of Egypt. If any man dared to try leaving his daily task for the unjust king's service, he would be beaten, even killed. Here comes Moses, a type of Jesus, he received a Word from the Lord that he should go back to Egypt, a place where he was once in line for the throne and to stand up against the King whom he once called father and to speak a just Word that came from God.

Halleluia! Just like Jesus, when he was to be tempted by the devil, Satan tried to offer him something that was not his to give. So we see that Moses who was not born in the house of Pharaoh was strategically placed in the house of Pharaoh where he was made to learn the ways of the Pharaoh. He always knew that he was different but not until he grew up and became of age a realization of who he really was came to him. At that point Pharaoh reminded him that he grew up in the King's palace and was in line to inherit the throne. Moses realized that the throne and inheritance that was being offered to him was not comparable to the reward that he had in God. Moses became a deliverer to the people of God because he realized that God is a rewarder to them that diligently seek him.

The people of God was in bondage and was bound for a future of nothing until they heard about the reward that God had for them in a new land. if they were willing to journey to this new land they would become free, their children would have an inheritance, they would not have to toil and not receive a reward, they would be able to rest. We were bound for death and Jesus came and bought us with a price and now we are free. Our reward is God. Ultimately, all that our Father owns belongs to us. I will share at a later time on the topic of a Ram caught in the ticket. Which further explains us being bought and our inheritance.

Thank God for his grace in revealing His Word. We began to talk about the breast plate of the high priest and the significance of the names written on it. We also started looking at how it represents the nature of God working in us to bring us to himself. We will now look at Manasseh one of the sons of Jacob, one of the tribe of Israel whose name was written on the breast plate that was worn by the high priest who ventured into the holy of holies behind the veil into the presence of the King. When a king enters into a country there is a distinct presence of his supremacy, authority and Kingship that floods the atmosphere.

When a king enters into a city there is even greater anticipation of his presence, people gather themselves on the streets to show respect and give honor to the King. Because all these people are not trained, and have not been in the presence of the King before, a company of authorities would come to the streets and physically tell the people what they should and should not do when the King is passing by, there would also be signs posted, telling the people how to act and behave in the presence of the King.

We are today being trained by the authority of God how to act and behave in the presence of the King.
So many of us have become so accustom to our old ways and it’s hard to change. We have a saying "you cannot teach an old dog new trick". Well, we certainly act like dogs sometimes but its time to change that, we have too many actors in the churches and the Christian world. God wants us to be real, loose the false accent, we do not need to put on a false accent to talk with God, we do not need to dress and talk vulgar to get the attention of the brothers or sisters thinking that it will draw us any closer to God because the brother or sister may have a position in the church. God wants us to be real, speak the truth, if we want to impress God, it’s the things that we do in the closet that will impress him.

Manasseh means "to cause to forget" God wants us to forget those things which are behind and to press toward those things which are before us. We cannot live on yesterday's anointing, we cannot move forward on yesterday's prayer, just as we need to eat physical food for today and the here and now, we need to go to God everyday and receive of Him new manna every day. The food of yesterday does not provide the required nutrition needed for today. We have grown accustomed to microwave and refrigerators for our natural food so we have adapted well to that lifestyle and become microwave and refrigerator Christians. So the preacher tells us to get our lives right with God and we don't like it, we put it on ice. He tells us tells us to come out tomorrow night because we are having a party night, we put that in the microwave.

We have learned so well how to put stuff on ice and how to microwave it that it has now become a way of life. When the King is coming to our city we get into the mode of honoring the King, we lose our agendas and ideas. We forget about everything else that is happening around us and concentrate on Him. We forget about self. When we come to God and lay our sins before Him, He washes it away and remember them no more according to Isaiah. God wants us to forget our old ways and to put on the new mind of Christ which is after righteousness and truth. Paul said "I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling that is in Christ Jesus" We move forward, not backward.

We are not to live our lives according to what people say about us but according to what God say about us and the only way we can know what he said is through his Word.
The thought here is that God sees us as a people who has been blood washed and accepted into the Kingdom. We are no more strangers aliens and bastards but now called sons whereby we cry abba Father. What a privilege, what a revelation, it no longer the sky is the limit but God is the limit and if God is the limit that makes us limitless to God.
