The day of the Lord part 1

Jesus said "as of the day and hour no man knoweth" The day of the Lord is typical of the time when the death angel was about to pass through the land of Egypt. There was a people who entered into their house which is typical of the Ark, this Ark was covered with blood just as Jesus was, just as the Ark of Noah was covered with pitch. When that day came, they were all on the earth, judgment and lamentation came to those who entered into their houses not covered with blood.

We ought to ask ourselves, how will the day of the Lord find us? In that day will we be ready? Ready to meet him in judgment or glory. The trumpet of the Lord has been and still being sounded, but not everyone is preparing themselves for that day. Paul said, "stand therefore, having your loins gird about with truth" if we do this, Jesus said " out of our bellies shall flow rivers of living water. He met the woman at the well and asked of her water, she was surprised seeing that the Jews and the Samaritans had nothing to do with each other. Jesus gave her to drink of that living water and she could not contain herself. She ran through the town saying "come see a man" In this day of the Lord we ought to be like Jesus with that living water flowing out of us so that when one have tasted they would noise around town "come see a man" the Jesus in me, the heart of God.

The day of the Lord should not be a day of fear to us but a day of victory and glory.
