From Milk to Meat

When the children of Israel complained against God in the wilderness, saying "can God prepare a table in the wilderness" the Lord rained down manna from heaven to them and they ate angel’s food. He fed them to the full with the corn of heaven. God is able to open the windows of heaven and shower upon us blessings that we will not have room enough to contain it.

Our carnal way of thinking limit the gifts of God from pouring into our lives to the few things that tradition will allow us to receive. Because of traditional ministries, the people of God have been kept on a milk diet and have failed to mature. Milk is necessary but as we grow there comes a time of gleaning when bread becomes necessary in very small amounts, maybe even soaking the bread in the milk at first, for a while, until we have learned how to use our baby teeth. In the beginning when we start eating bread there might be some choking, coughing, spitting and it gets messy. This is a natural process but as soon as we learn how to use out teeth, we sometimes bite the fingers that feed us. There comes a time when we will get accustomed to the bread and will be ready for meat but beat is different from bread.

  •      Heb. 5:12-14 says "for when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk and not of strong meat. For everyone that useth milk is unskillful: fore is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are full of age.
It will require some chewing to be able to eat meat, if we did not go through the weaning process we will have problems eating meat. There are certain muscles in our jaw and mouth area that needs to be developed that will allow us to eat meat effectively. We sometimes find ourselves sending for the milk diet specialist to help us out with other means of maturing without strong meat. These specialists are false prophets, who takes us around town avoiding strong meat. If we should attempt eating strong meat not having trained jaws and a ready system. Our food consumption requires that we learn how to chew on solid food, if we eat solid food and do not chew enough we will encounter digestive problems. Just to add to that we will also have after and during chewing pains. If we are not ready for this we may encounter some serious health problems like vomiting and cramps.

What am I saying? We were designed by God to grow up and become matured, if we continue on milk alone we will suffer with serious malnutrition and would remain as babes and weaklings, we need bread and we need meat but there must be a transition, we must be trained how to chew, we also need to be careful as to what we eat, because we have the ability to chew it does not mean that we ought to go around town eating everything in sight.
Our diet should be chosen food because we are chosen. We absorb what we eat and if we eat unhealthy we will be unhealthy, if we partake of a corrupted word we will ultimately become corrupt just like Eve did. Because we were designed by God to get matured, we will forever crave for more, when we become starved for solid food we are forced to continue on the milk of babes and sometimes told that it’s ok to not eat meat, we are even told that meat is not for everyone, well according to the Word of the Lord, we all need to grow and get matured, meat is for everyone and there is no superior race of man or religion.
We are all called to be sons, we are all equal in the eyes of God, there is no color or gender preference, we need to press on from being born again to receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit and then to the baptism of fire. Fire is symbolic of God for he said that he is a consuming Fire. There is more and it belongs to us. We are all special and unique in our own way designed for greatness to become one with him.
