The Sealing of the Saints [Part 12]

Bless the Lord for a new day. Every day we see the sun rise is another day that the Lord has added to us, God is bringing us from a place of nothingness to a place of abundance and plenty. Continuing to look at the sealing of the saints in the light of the breastplate of the high priest, we will now look at Joseph, which means "God has added". For the faith and faithfulness of Elisha he received a double portion of the anointing of Elijah.

By his faithfulness in serving his parents and being obedient and getting yoked up with the oxen, he appeared to be insignificant and unimportant; plowing in the field takes you out of the forefront of being seen, just as Moses was in the back side of the desert. It is referred to as the closet experience, the wilderness experience, it’s a place of toiling and hard work, a place where there is no cheerleading, no pats on the back, if anything, just like Job when his wife told him to curse God and die, we would be treated like Elisha when the sons of the Prophets stood and viewed from a far off. Continually pointing out and reminding him that he is following a ministry that will soon come to an end, well, we know in part and prophesy in part all these things will pass away but the only one thing that will stay and stand is the Word of God.

If Israel had stayed in Egypt they would have never experienced the milk and honey, if Elisha had not heeded the call and followed Elijah he would have never received his double portion, nothing would have been added to him.

Israel would have never had an inheritance added to them should they have stayed in Egypt. God does not want us to become stale and boring and dry but he wants to add flavor and color to our existence and destiny. We were once without hope, so God added hope, we were bound for death, so God added life, we were strangers and aliens from the commonwealth of God, he added to us citizenship, we are no more foreigners, we did not qualify to receive an inheritance so he added to us and grafted us into the olive branch, he added to us the right of an heir. An heir is not one who buys into but one who was born into the right to inherit and possess. The heir (us) as long as he is a child differed nothing from a servant though he be an heir.

This is the reason for us being under tutors and governors who will teach us so that we may grow up into him in all things and when we have come to maturity we will be able to step out like Jesus did at the Jordan to do business in the Father's name.
He is the King of kings and we have become heirs to his throne. In order for us to step out and do business we must grow up, we must come to a place of maturity; we must have knowledge of managing the Kingdom before our Father can release it to us.

We have too many boy leaders today and God is calling Father's. In the physical we are trained to become doctors and lawyers and pilots, we find an authority in that field and we submit to it until we graduate and get certified and qualified before we are allowed to perform the duties of the position. We have been placed under tutors and governors for the purpose of training and maturity so that we can grow up and become knowledgeable and experienced to handle to positions and responsibilities which we are called for. God has indeed added to us this order.
